Ladies thanks so much for the well wishes yesterday! I survived my first comp... whew! I didn't place, but I honestly didn't expect to, and I met a ton of great girls. I was shaking like a leaf for the morning judging, but by the night time I had relaxed enough to be much more confident. So I did my best for the crowd and not for the judges, but so be it!
Here are a few pics and a video of my night boxing routine. In the SNBF shows you do a theme wear round - you don't have to dance but you can if you want so I threw a few moves in there.
The down side to the whole thing was my trainer, who threw a royal fit and caused all kinds of drama, but I'll save that for the venting thread. I'll keep this one positive and just say that I don't know for sure if I'll do another one, but I'm leaning towards it. It was fun to get up and show off my hard work!
