Nope I never skip carbs...Even on a low carb day, I always had carbs pre and post workout. Your body needs the fuel to train and the fuel to recover. During my prep my trainer always lays out how many carbs and when to have them...pre/post is always a MUST on my plans.

I did last year, but now in retrospect I think I was an idiot for doing so. I did workouts fasted and definatly did not feed my body properly. = serious metabolic damage!

Did you reduce the amount of PWO carb at all? Or change the source?

I would leave PWO the same and tinker with your other meals...this is the most important one of the day

That depends on what you're already doing...I get about 30-40g PWO.

Foregoing PWO carbs is like going to the gym and only doing 5lb DB curls when you could really do 20lbs. Eat them carbs and make'em count - rice cakes IMO are nutritionally void - you need a more substinant and nutritionally dense source than rice cake baby! Bring on the rice, sweet pots, pasta, etc! When you're lifting with purpose and lifting heavy you need the carbs to repair your muscles and promote the growth which equals fat burning!
