Okay...soooooo is it just me of is anyone else totally SHOCKED that Nicole Wilkins Lee won The Arnolds?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Oh yeah...wasnt Ava ROCKIN that outfit! She looked HOTT!!! but wat else is new...ITS AVA COWEN!!!!!

OKay back to comp talk:

I wasnt suprised that Iris won for Ms.International..that girls a beast!! and I def wasnt suprised that Adela (I think thats how you spell it) won 1st in Fitness...I did think that Tanji would have gotten second?!

But back to figure....wth!!!! I dunno man....Im still not that happy that she took 1st at the Olympias....but for all of you who watched the show...I KNOW YALL SAW THE REST OF THE GIRLS.....COOOME ON!!!!

Geesh...well..dont get me wrong...Nicole has a very nice figure...I just dont think its the "best figure in the world"...I mean when I think of the best ladies in figure..she aint the first to cross my mind....lol...and my ideal self when I hit pro is to look better than that...

Apparently, the world of figure has changed...DRAMATICALLY..and I dont know if I like it too much...

I'm still upset that Nicole Wilkin's Lee won!! I don't understand.

I don't like the turn figure is taking lately...she's in great shape, but she was much too soft, IMO. And Monica looked too good to place 7th.

Fitness: I think Tanjis routine and body was the best....I thought she and Adela were 1 and 1a. I like Adela, but her routines are always very similar...Tanji keeps stepping it up...Now, the fact that Julie beat her was a joke, her routine was sloppy! END RANT

Figure: I agree completely! Nicole shouldnt have won...I didnt even think she should have won the Olympia (HELLO GINA!!!!). They say they are going for a softer look...I'm not digging it...Shes hot, no doubt but in my opinion NOT the best in figure. Erin Stern looked much better than Nicole...size and conditioning. Bottom line...MONICA BLEW THEM ALL AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm bipolar on the Nicole issue.

I have to love her because she's from my home area.. did a little pre first bikini comp prep with her. So I can not say anything bad there

HOWEVER, I think the trend of figure is moving towards a softer, more feminine..less rigid look. Just my opinion from what I have seen recently.

UGH!!! I AGREE!!! After I saw that Nicole won the Olympia..it was like a slap in the face...I thought, "Well there goes my chance..cuz im plannin on lookin harder than Nicole"..she is WAAAAAY to soft to be the face of figure..Gina should have taken Olympia 1st..she even came back to that Olympia softer than the '08 Olympia..but nooooooo she was still too rigid for them....

And how Monica got 7th place......ugh.........ugh.....makes me sick....

I used to place figure right beneth bodybuilding..but now I see figure is making a drawback towards bikini...and I dont like it one bit...

I wonder how its gonna be when we make it to the top..if thats even possible now....geesh

The organization that I have competed in still has a harder look...which I prefer. The pro girls (IFPA) are hard and muscular! Everytime a pro from this organization does an NPC show they are told they are too hard and they dont place well.

I LOVE the hard, muscular look...so thats what I plan to acheive!!!

Same here! I love that the UFE has harder girls who win, and they actually look a little dry and cut, which is what FIGURE was meant to be in the first place! Feminine musculature, not beach bodies!

I don't think too lean at all. Her forearms are not popping with veins..she looks gorgeous in my opinion. Very stage competition perfect!

This is Rachel Baker(IFPA Pro)...I love her look, she wins the overall in an IFPA show yet was told she was too hard/muscular for the NPC.

I just don't get the major diff. between first and second, ect. Nicole looks nothing like Erin. How did they place similarly, if you KWIM. Like Erin is a step behind her, but their physiques are nothing alike.

IMHO: Nicole and Iris are well known faces. They have paved a path for themselves over the past couple of years and are sort of pigeon holed into the winner spot.

PS- Nicole has not booty and no calves. I think she is GORGEOUS! don't get me wrong, she rocks. But she is just missing so essential assets that we all strive to achieve. Ugh. I am so confused.

Mindi wasn't too lean for the Phx judges. She rocks. Her hair looks amazingly white, like Storm from the X-Men.

I personally really don't like NWL's look. I think Monica looked unbelievable! THAT is a physique to aspire toward! I think Erin, Monica, AND Felicia should have place ABOVE NWL.

I SECOND THIS!!!! And I also think that is BS about Mindi bein too lean..wtf is that about?! She is freakin hot!!!! Her confidence, stage presence, muscle tone, everything about her banging...they are freakin stupid...

Its lookin like Im going to have to choose which organizations I compete in more carefully....I have always wanted to compete in the NPC...but now..I just dont know...I have only competed in the INBF and in June I will competeing for the INBA/ABA...they have amazing bodies!! I just figured if I wanna make it to the top..the NPC was the way to go....

This is a bit depressing....**sigh**

NWL needs more muscle...more hardness...somethings gotta change....FIRE THOSE DAMN JUDGES!!!!
