Ordering a Suit

Hi girls! This is my 3rd show, but only the first time I ordered a suit. I ordered it 8 wks out from my show and my girl said I had plenty of time. Well, she didn't start it until 1 week ago. Now I am 3.5 wks out and still haven't had my initial fitting.

How many weeks from the time your suit designer started sewing did it take for your first fitting? And then how long did it take to finish the suit? I am getting a little nervous....

I always order 16-12wks out and my designer sends it (roughly) 4wks out but I have never had to send it back for additional changes...She has always nailed my comp fit.
Have you tried contacting her??

I contacted her a week ago and she said she just started it. She has a fitting before she puts the jewels on. I will contact her again. I just don't want to be annoying. Next time I will order it 12 wks out.
