I dont care about your placing, to me anyone that steps on stage is a winner! I want to hear about your whole competition experience. How was your day?!?
The day was LONG!!!! I got up at 4:30.... to the venue at 8:30, had to sit on a cold cement floor until 1:30 then FINALLY got to step on stage .
I LOVED every second of my t-walk and quarter turns... but when the top then were called out and started posing in a ... um.... very suggestive style I didn't enjoy that.... That is SO not appropriate in my mind... and to be honest I didn't even like being on the same stage as that....
Anyways I was SUPER happy with the way I looked, had a BLAST with my walk/posing.... and will be competing again in April here in SASK. I dont think the WBFF bikini is my style. Time to try out the IFBB side!
That being said... I LOVE to showcase my hard work.... NOT my seductive-ness......
Well, no matter what you placed, you looked fantastic! and I agree with you on the ummm...permiscuous posing...not my style either.
You should look into organizations that have a 'fitness model' category...they are more about showcasing you spunkiness rather than your sex appeal.
Interesting, and I totally agree about the suggestive/seductive posing that seems to be the norm in the WBFF fitness model AND bikini divisions. It's not my style either, I am glad you recognized that and hopefully you'll find IFBB bikini less sexualized.
You look stunning! I don't blame you for keeping it about your physique and not about your inner-kitten. Congrats on getting up there and showing that sexy and strong doesn't have to equal seductress.
That is my #1 complaint with bikini...MOST girls take it to a stripper level, good for you for keeping real to yourself...CLASSY, what bikini should be!!!
I competed in NPC (IFBB) last year when the division was completely new. Within a month is was already "slutified". This is one of many reasons that I will no longer compete. I simply do not support the organizations and their standards.
you look beautiful! And your booty knocks those other girls off the stage! I didn't see the slutty poses in my bikini comp, thank goodness, but a photographer was telling me how some girls really whore it up. Gross. I agree with your take - much better to show off your trainng than show ... other stuff. Congrats on all your hard work!!
I'm late to this thread but better late than never..... You looked AMAZING Kristine!!!!! Very proud of you for getting up on stage and even more proud u didn't trash it up like alot of bikini girls do!
