If you have a chance please watch all 5 parts of this. It takes women who are normal - not lifters, etc. Super Skinny Me
It is crazy how out of the two women the extreme dieting led to one having to pull out of the competition.
My take on this is while I may not agree with everything I do agree extreme dieting of ANY KIND can lead to massive rebounds and into a full blown eating disorder for those who have ever had a weight issue.
I am, as many of you know, a recovering bulimic. What I know more than anything is I have to be careful NOT to do any extreme. I have my fat days and my good days. I have days where I am freaked out I ate something considered "bad". What I know more than anything is for those of us with an eating disorder or a pre- eating disorder food is the devil.
You have to take away the power of food and recognize it is to be used for fuel. It fuels our body for us to become fabulous women who are reaching a vision. If we lose sight of that we can become so obsessed with what we put in our mouths. My life, as is anyone else's is by far MORE than extreme dieting. It is about impacting this world and reaching a vision. It is about empowering other women who have fallen or been knocked down. It is in essence, the reason women are hard to be friends with - we have the power to destroy someone else or build them up.
I hope you watch these and give me your opinion!
