Well Im doin the AD right now..and that carb-cycling thing is looking better by the passing days...but im worried now...

I have decided to switch back to carb cycling..but not until im done bulking on the AD...the problem is that I have discovered ..well more so confirmed my intolerance to wheat products...or is it gluten?? (On the weekend, during my refeed, my stomach hurts like hell, I have horrible gas, and sometimes I even get loose bowels..ugh)..I know I know..TMI..but hey..yall gotta know the symptoms..lol

I dont know exactly WHAT it is that im sensitive to..is it wheat or is it gluten...and if i do go back to carb cycling..what exactly can I eat if I cant eat wheat products without the discomfort??

To figure out what is causing the discomfort you should really watch exactly what you're eating and the response your body has...it may be several different things/ingredients. It would suck to cut out ALL wheat and gluten if thats not the exact problem.

I agree with Nic. It might not be an issue that you are actually allergic to wheat or gluten so much as that your body just may not be used to eating them... so it causes an adverse reaction... and it will just take some time to readjust to having them in your diet. Kind of like a cheat... I noticed in September and October when I had a lot going on and was eating a lot of junk, after a while I didnt feel as horrible as usual as I kept eating them. It was like my body got used to having a lot of junk in it's system again :(

But after 3 straight weeks of 100% clean diet... I felt miserable again after eating a lot of junk this weekend.

Ditto, you can carb up and slowly add certain things in to see what's happening.

But I have to say when I first started on my carb ups I was horribly uncomfortable it took a few months for my body to "get" what was going on and now I have no problems. I had same issues as you. But I would do as mentioned because you thought that was a problem before you did AD. Try taking out products with gluten and see how you do.

Agreed...watch portions and foods closely, figure out was causes discomfort...ONE FOOD AT A TIME. THEN, move on to other foods to rule them out.

My body always acts like this on Saturday night after my free meal and I know it's just because my digestion is not used to digesting these foods. I take a pro biotic to help. Over time if I kept eating these junky foods my system would adapt and the stomach would settle but then I would get bigger and bigger ...

Also after comps when I get back on the carbs my body does this too...

Isn't the body wonderful, it moves and adapts to suit whatever we are doing with our bodies
