Sorry I am a nightmare with all these questions...

I LOVE my fresh mashed pumpkin. I am counting it as carb.(I don't add anything in it to mash)

Is it ok to have it with my eve meal or would you stick to salad and green veggies at night?

I tend to have oats 1st thing. Sml Sweet pot at lunch. Pumpkin pm meal. That is it for low carb. Mod and high, I add a little more fruit bigger pots and clean cookie. All macros accounted for.

I need to get this right. I have held on to this extra weight since Xmas.
Time to melt it off.....

HELP PLEASE!!!

Thanks lovely OL Ladies xxx

You can eat carbs anytime...they dont magically turn to fat at a certain time

Thanks Nic, I research and read too much sometimes........ and confuse myself
some articles I have read suggest carbs just for 1st 3 meals. Or 1st 2 meals and PWO.
So it put me in a spin......should I be having those carbs at night??? etc?
I have also at times been having my clean treat as a bedtime snack on MC and HC days but that is also carbs, and so I am wondering if this could affect results???
Ummmm maybes I think toooooo much.....

It is a mind field. What I want to do is get this right.....properly.....because the temptation will always be there to go back to restricting everything and so I figure I am hopefully going to prove to myself that it IS possible to get my body in a 'great' shape without living on 'fresh air'!

I am sorry for all the questions hun, but I hope to get there.....eventually xxx

The bottom line is cals in vs. cals out...so if you want to spread your carbs throughout the day then there is nothing 'wrong' with that.
I prefer to time my carbs simply because for the amount I eat, I like to have them at breakfast and around my workout...If I have a high carb day, I'll have some a little later.
Keep things simple
