You can use water to cook it in or for extra flavour chicken stock.
I add cayenne pepper, cumin and a little garlic powder to mine for flavour!!!

I've grown to hate it. It is tolerable. I like fresh chicken breast WAY better, though.

It's not cheap here anyway Like $2 a can!

I like it because I don't have to cook it, it's convienent for when I have been feeling lazy all day and I don't have any time to cook before work...but yes, actual chicken breast tastes MUCH better!!!

I couldn't get past the smell of the canned chicken to eat it plain so I eat mine as follows
*mushrooms sauteed in EVOO
*add canned chicken to the pan to heat
*sprinkle with some fresh cracked pepper and low sodium soy sauce to taste (or teriyaki but my preferance is the soy)
*serve over brown rice
I could eat this every day...LOVE it that way

I have a thing against canned meat. I like my meat minimally processed. In fact, I would prefer to stand in front of my free range farmer and watch him whack, de-feather, and prep the chicken, then throw it in a bag for me. However, the farmers all live up in the mountains here and I don't have that luxury.
