lots of grilled meats, brown rice, any green veggie until I feel like I am a green vegetable! Spices become my best friend.

^^^^^ I agree! I just grill tons of meats at on Sunday, cook up a batch of brown rice, bake about 2 lbs of sweet pots, and make a big salad for the week.
Spices are definitely your best friend. About once a month, I will simmer chick breast in a pot of Rotel with spices. Yummy!

Fat/Protein, Protein/Carb but what about Protein/Carb/Fat??? Whats the REAL deal? Is it a preference or an absolute no-no?

You already know all about my diet, but I'll post anyway...
Staples: Oats, Egg whites, Whey, Chicken, Almonds
Pro/Carb around my workouts and Pro/Fat later in the day to keep me satisified

I'm a very boring contest eater. No spices. Lots of times just plain chicken. I'm not a foodie. Just give me the fuel!

Doesn't matter! Makes absolutely NO difference. What matters is your macro totals at the end of the day.

You know what I say: if you are eating well and feel good about yourself, then that is all that matters. Do what works for you. Experiment a little, but don't drive yourself nuts trying to figure it all out. That is when you develop an unhealthy relationship with food.
Hugs! I think you got this, girl.

Re: Competition Diet...
I have a hard time digesting rice and lose weight easier with potatoe.
I stick to chicken, eggwhites, xl ground turkey, spinach, green pepper, cucumber, broc, and oatmeal of course.
