Has anyone tried chocolate tea? I'm a chocoholic and I get my fix daily in protein powder and my own special chocolate pancakes with oats + chocolate whey and a little cocoa powder. I also have one diet cocoa per day. I'm trying to quit the diet cocoa - too many chemicals and had read something about chocolate tea. I'm not really a tea drinker, but I thought if the chocolate flavor is there I may really like it and be able to give up the chemical laden diet cocoa.

I tried one brand that I didn't like at all. It smelled bad and had almost no taste. I can't remember what brand it was. I think it may have been Stash, but I'm not sure. The Lipton Pyramid teas are all amazing. If they have a chocolate, that's the one I would try. I also remember reading something interesting on the FA site. A competitor said that during the last few weeks of contest prep she would get flavored stevia drops and put them in hot water. I've seen these, and I've seen a chocolate flavored one. That might be a good way to make your own chocolate tea.

I have a chocolate tea I picked up at a health food store a while back but it's not something I'd buy again. It tastes nothing like chocolate, and the flavor (or lack thereof) is pretty bland. I think you're better trying the stevia drop idea. Sorry girl!
