Question Healthy way to bring blood sugar level back up

I'm hypoglycemic, so I have at least one crash a day usually while at work. I work in a coffee/donut shop and I get free donuts hahaha, but I'd rather not eat a donut, for obvious reasons, is there any healthy way I can bring my sugar level back up?? I was thinking about mixing some Milk with a protein shake would this work? Any other suggestions?

I have found that the best way is to prevent it from crashing in the first place. Eating protein every 2-3 hours has done that for me. Fruit and protein combos are also pretty effective to prevent a crash. Giving up grains helped my hypoglycemia quite a bit as well. Before I got it under control, I used orange juice to spike it back up. An OJ and protein shake combo may work if you are experiencing drops. They also make glucose tablets that can bring it up quickly. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response! I find if I don't have any grains in the morning I crash, but If I eat toast in the morning, and eat fruit/protein source every 2-3 hrs im usually ok...sometimes I crash though.

I'm wondering if this condition makes it harder to lose body fat? What's your opinion on this?

I'm in the same boat...but I feel like I crash ALL THE TIME. Dizzy, weird numb feelings, etc.

I do have a really hard time dropping body fat, but I have other things going on that contribute to that, as well.

Its hard not to let it drop, it depends how busy i am while working. I work in the kitchen so I usually go on break when I choose, but sometimes I have to keep pushing it off while im working...which leads to blood sugar drops :/

And I'm def finding it difficult to drop body fat with this condition it's driving me nuts, im stuck at 21% and I'd like to be atleast at 15% ughhhh
