I know I have some massage/chiro experts on here...

Lately, for the past week or so, when I sleep I often wake up several times per night with numbness in my shoulder/arm. It occurs either on the side I am sleeping, or if on my back, both sides.

Today, while working in my office chair, I experienced numbness running down from my left hip to my toes. Tingling, numbness, in my left shoulder, too.

Is this my sciatic nerve acting up? I am in no pain at all back wise.

Ugh. Thanks in advance!

Sciatic nerve wouldn't move into your upper arms...are you saying they "fall asleep"? That's usually lack of circulation. I often wake up in the middle of the night with an arm asleep if I've been lying on it.
The feeling going down your leg...was it down the back of your leg? And really quite painful? If so, then it's probably sciatic. Have someone release your piriformis if you can...or foam roll it with a lacrosse or baseball. Then be sure to stretch it!!! "Figure 4" is the best way to stretch your piriformis. Sit. Cross an ankle over the opposite knee. Gently press out on your knee as you fold your chest forward to reach your legs.

Hope you feel better soon!
