Default Make up for wedding

Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off with $20 Purchase.

My wedding is in 9 months and I want to do my own make up. What is a good high quailty eye make-up and foundation. That will stay put and not smudge? Or any tips is highly welcomed. I want to buy now and experiment with my looks.

First of all, congrats to you !
NARS and Mac are both really excellent products , I would use a light colored Mac shadow stick as a base and then use your shadow over it.Your shadow will look "just applied" all day long!

I also really like all the smashbox primers. They help everything look better!

Sorry!

NARS it's a brand of eye shadow.

I've seen some of their smokey eye collections and liked them but I wasn't finding them on sephora while looking for that link.

Any recommendations would be great though!

Well I have to say that I am SERIOUSLY impressed with MAC makeup.. I have the studio fix foundation, pressed powder and a few different eyeshadows.

I know this is crazy BUT, I was wearing it when I got to the farm the other day, worked my butt off in the sun and my makeup still looked fantastic when I was finished. Usually in the past I have a really oily face... but not with MAC.

Thank you Ladies!
I know my bare minerals won't cut it wedding day. I don't want to touch up or anything. I will look into all of these.
Reason I don't want an artist, this sounds weird but I don't like other people poking around my eyes. I know I am a dork and will prob spend more on products than an artist but again no poking around my eyes. lol!

Hey girl... I dont know what your makeup application skills are but here's a website that I came across and she gives great tutorials. Maybe you can play around a little and post pictures of what you come up with!

Dior Nudeskin is an excellent liquid foundation, especially for big events. I have noticed that I doesn't come off when I sweat, and it has a nice, smooth consistancy, not cakey at all. It offers great coverage. Another thing I liked is that when I apply my eye makeup I almost ALWAYS end up getting some under my eyes somehow, lol, but when I'm wearing the foundation it is really easy to wipe off the mess but the foundation stays put.

Ohhh I agree on the dior. they also have a really nice bronzer. so does laura geller - love that. I normally wear bare minerals too - day to day - but I know what you are talking about - it is very light and i think that one of the others dior/mac/etc will def. give you more coverage, etc.
