I'm 29, a polar researcher and want to have a better body at 30 than I did at 21. I play rugby and, while I love lifting, rugby is my priority at the moment. I want to lean up, who doesn't, but keep finding I drown in information and get utterly confused and keep struggling with my weight. My body fat tends to concentrate on my lower half and I want to sort this out. I will post pics in my next post as I can't do it in the first one.
You've got a great base!! Tiny waist, a good amount of muscle... all you need to do is lean out a bit more, and you'll be set!
Congrats to you on what you've accomplished thus far. The best piece of advice I can give you, is to stick with one thing for at least 6 weeks or so before moving on to some other training program or diet that looks good to you.
I know there's lots of information out there, but you can't follow it all and get results -- you have to pick one thing at a time, and see how your body does with it.
Thanks for all your comments ladies. Brownbikerbabe, I'd like to get my lower half to be as lean as my upper body and I want to reduce my overall body fat. The problem is I'm having trouble shifting my lower body fat.
Uh...yeah. I definitely do not look like that. You need to give yourself some credit girl!!
As far as not getting overloaded with information, you are in the right place! You will always get an answer to your posts... everyone here is awesome about giving feedback! And there isn't article after article on the same topic, with each one contradicting the other!

Yeah the name comes from the fact I'm usually so full of energy people started calling me the Duracell Bunny, but we already call my best mate that. When I got back into lifting they changed it to Gymbunny.
Polar researcher. Well that's kinda a very broad tag for what I do, officially I'm a biogeoscientist. I work in climate research. A lot of people work in climate change research but my research focuses on assessing the reliability of the tools we use to do climate reconstruction.
Ya, I always said I could have done a better job nursing my kids if some of the fat on my lower body was sucked up to my upper body... up there it was all skim if you know what I mean
I have no idea what happened to the pictures? I haven't moved them or anything. Perhaps it happened during the board reshuffle? Anyway I will upload them again, or pop them on my profile this weekend once my deadlines are over!
Oh yes and lower body fat sucks. What's even more frustrating is due to work I haven't been training much lately and do my boobs come back? No they do not, but my thighs are definitely increasing.
