I understand that Oliciouslife is intended to be the welcoming community that it is, and we'd all like to have as many members comfortable here as possible. You've done a great job so far, and you deserve kudos for that!
That said, I'm a little disappointed at the generalized approach of the website. What initially drew me to the site was the ability to share detailed training and diet info with the other knowledgeable ladies. It seems like the training/physique element of the site is becoming overshadowed by general life interest pieces, lovely though they are, and emotional support. (Kellie, I love your writing!)
These other goals are certainly valuable--and I encourage everyone to continue to develop our excellent community here. Obviously everyone has to start somewhere, and newbies are always welcome! Team spirit and emotional encouragement, particularly with respect to sensitive issues like personal relationships and eating disorders, are worthy causes. However, I'm feeling that the "figure athlete" component of the website has gone a bit by the wayside.
I know that I only represent one voice, and that the goals of Oliciouslife are manifold, but I'd enjoy seeing more special features again on training and diet, especially since I hear such great things about your knowledge, Olesya, from the ladies on here. Maybe we could have a weekly article on advanced training techniques for the experienced ladies, or interviews with some pro athletes (figure and non-figure alike), to balance out some of the general topics for new exercisers?
Thanks for listening!
Alpha.

Thanks so much for taking the time to voice your opinion; it's definitely valid and will be taken into consideration.
This website was always meant to be a "female interest" website with a special emphasis on no-nonsense fitness information, and in bringing lifestyle information (including emotional support, relationship advice, beauty articles, and so forth), the fitness component hasn't gotten as much coverage as I intended over the past couple of weeks (initially, it was meant to be once weekly).
I'll do my very best to bring you girls some good training articles!

Wonderful, thanks Olesya!
I agree with Kim--Nia is an excellent writer. Molly Galbraith also has a nice, informative style, and I know she's published here before.
