Is it just me? Or do other's completely miss new posts sometimes?

Not sure what you mean. Can you be more specific?

Do you not see new posts because of some technical issue?

Or do you mean that some other members seem to ignore new posts? (I agree with you on this point, if this is what you mean -- and I'm not quite sure why it happens, but I definitely wish that didn't happen.)

Well I sometimes completely miss new posts...and then they are lost in the abyss...and never get responded to!

why dont you just click "new posts" on the forum navigation bar where it says all this

We seem to get so involved in our journals that we miss the posts/threads in the regular forum section...so many girls posts questions but dont get many replys

^^^ I agree with Nic. I spend literally hours each week posting in my journal and following others in theirs that I rarely venture into the other parts of the OL community. There just aren't enough hours in the day!

And the other thing I am noticing is that before when I posted in a thread the setting for 'Notification Type' used to be set on default to 'Instant Email Notification', whereas now it is set to default 'No Notification'. It took me a while to notice that, and now I have to remember to select it.

Some forums have unanswered questions threads compiled under one link. This might be a good feature to add to ensure that nobody's question goes unanswered.
