Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Splenda (to taste. Depends how sweet you want it.)
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add in splenda, vanilla, and cream of tartar and beat on high speed until stiff peaks form. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet, and bake in the oven at 250 degrees for 25-40 minutes (depending how hot your oven gets) or until golden brown on top.
When finished, remove from heat, and dust lightly with cinnamon. After they're finished cooling, gently cut the meringues in half and stuff them with cottage cheese and Walden Farm's chocolate syrup. YUM!!!
This has become an evening staple for me. Very little carbs, high protein, and oh-so-yummy!!

You don't have to put it in! You could just have syrup, or stuff it with jam, whatever!
Is cream of tartar sold in most grocery stores? Ive read about it in a few places but Ive never seen that. I've never purposely looked, but Ive spent quite a bit of time in baking aisles, lol
