I made a "voo-doo" recipe earlier and all it took was two ingredients...cottage cheese and pico de gallo. So yurmmy! I know it sounds lame but it was a first time try for me and it sounded yucky at first but not anymore!

What do you use cottage cheese for?

I make one that tastes like cheese cake to me

I would lable this an 'off season' treat.

1/2 cup cottage cheese.
1/2 cup sug.free/fatfree vanilla yogurt
1 scoop vanilla whey protein ( a kind that blends really well..I like Optimum Nutrition)

Stir and serve cold!

It's about 270 cals ( hense 'off season treat') but ohhhh soooo good!

I put it in a Magic Bullet with frozen strawberries, Splenda and 1-2 Tbsp of water. It tastes like strawberry cheescake frozen yogurt.

I could only eat it if I blended it...the chunks made me ill Once I would blend it up, there is no limit to what you can add to it!

I always HATED cottage cheese until I read "Naturally Thin" by Betheny Frankel and realized that she used it for her cheesecake. I have a small food processor that I keep on my countertop and in the off season I mix however many calories worth I need with a few packets of splenda and it is awesome! Like cheesecake pudding. In fact, one of my last pre-comp diet meals was this but I added sf cheesecake pudding mix to it (just like a tbsp) and it was heaven.

OR... sometimes I would eat it in a dessert bowl and cook down some frozen blueberries with splenda and serve it on top like a blueberry sauce and sprinkle pecans on it. MMMMMMMmmmmm.

I love having cottage cheese and butternut squash topped with a little stevia! Sounds like a weird combo, but I LOOOVE it!
