Wow girls, I can't resist sharing this amazing recipe with all of you...probably the best thing I've come up with since being on the AD (and can even be suited for non-AD diets!)...hard-working women of fitness, I present to you...
SNEEZING'S SPICE CAKE!
Ingredients:
*4 tbsp. flax seed
*2-4 tbsp. almond flour
*pinch of the following: cinnamon, allspice (or cloves), nutmeg, ginger
*2 tsp. oil (I used olive oil...this is just for moistness, it's not an essential)
*1 egg
*2-5 packets of sweetener (it really just depends how sweet you like it...do it according to your taste)
*1/4 tsp. baking powder
*water (just enough to make cake batter consistency)
1.) Beat egg in a microwaveable bowl, and add in (one item at a time) the flax, almond flour, spices, oil, baking powder, water, and sweetener.
2.) Microwave on high for 40-50 seconds (depending on how powerful your microwave is). I would just put it in for 35 seconds or so, and check it, and if it's not done, finish the rest in intervals of 10 seconds...you want it to be very slightly moist on top, but not so moist that it's still batter. A toothpick should come out clean when put into the middle, but it shouldn't be dry on top.
TOPPING:
*2 tbsp. full-fat or low-fat cream cheese
*1-2 packets of sweetener
Mix the sweetener with the cream cheese until smooth. Top the cake.
Indulge. Savor. Shudder in delight.

I'm making myself another one tonight! Haha, I'm such a piggy .
Whole wheat flour would be fine...in that case I'd only add 2 tbsp.
Here are the macros...
The AD way (I used 2 tbsp of almond flour this time, but you can add more if you want more):
-36g fat
-16g protein
-4.5g carbs (not including the sweetener)
The non-AD way is the same, just omit the oil (if you want) and replace the egg with egg whites, the full-fat cheese with low-fat, etc...

So I wanted to make this SO bad last night...forgetting that after my desk job I had to train a claint, than hit the gym myself...AND pack for Vegas (which we leave for tonight). So I got to bed around midnight sans spice cake
