As you all remember, I am single and dating. I've actually been seeing a very nice guy for the past month now and had very high hopes about that relationship... but today, I found out that he has been hiding from me that he is separated.
He told me he is single, and that's what he had in his profile too (we met online). Then we started dating, and everything was great, and we talked about relationships a few times...he didn't mention once that he was ever married. Now today his phone rang while he was in the shower and I was waiting for him in his living room and I picked it up to take a message. It was his divorce attorney!!!
Now I am devastated. I asked his lawyer to call back and leave the message on his voicemail because I wouldn't be able to give it to him, so he did that, and I never told him that I know. But why is he lying to me? I just don't see why anyone would want to start a relationship with lies.
I'm so disappointed in men. What do you all think of this?
