We had a thread about what we love about our significant others, so I figured why not talk about their annoying habits/things we wish they didn't do, or their personality traits that really bother us.
I'll go first. I wish my husband wasn't such a loner sometimes. He hates it when my family or friends come over and all he ever wants to do is be alone, alone, alone. It even bothers him when the home phone rings! He seems to hate people. Not a bad person, but completely antisocial.

My husband is just the opposite! He is very social and loves to go out. Sometimes I just want to stay home! Besides when we go out he has a tendancy to drink too much

There is a few things that annoy me and it's only slightly.
1. He eats cookies with his mouth open.
2. When he's stressed he pulls at his eyelids. yuk
3. He wants to lose weight but doesn't want to work hard to do it. He says stuff like I am fat all the time (he is overweight) and wants to lose 60 more pounds but goes to the gym once and week and eats whatever the heck he wants to on his carb up days. I like him the way he is, but Ihate hearing him complan and he doesn't do anything consistantly, I have to say though since we've been together he's lost like 80 or 90 pounds with minimal exercise and not eating out as much as he used to, he used to every day before he met me. Everyday for Breakfast lunch and dinner. Long story as to why. Anyway that annoys me esp since I love it when we do train together, I want him there because then we chanllenge eachother when spotting each other and stuff it's really cool.
4. Plays favs with the dogs. And he's little dog likes to growl and nip at me he laughs and thinks it cute sometimes anyway.

Welllll let's see...
- He is incredibly Sloppy, like dribbles sauces, coffee, anything EVERYWHERE...then does not clean it up. And by the time I get home it is dried to whatever surface he dribbled on. This makes me fear for the new CREAM COLOURED fabric I just had put on my couches. FEAR. My dog is less of a slob.
- He does not rinse the ketchup and egg yolk off his plates. Do you know how hard that shit is to get off once it has dried...this can be looped in with pet peeve #1.
- He leaves his breakfast dishes on the floor........????????? seriously. I am assuming he has let the dog eat out of them and left them there...which leads me to the next point....
- I disenfect the dishes. Presidents Choice makes a SUPER-ANTIBAC dish soap....guess who washes the dishes twice?? ( well just the bowls, that's what I find on the floor)
- He strips down to a bare chest and track pants when he gets home ( very sexy, yes...but..) clothes are left where they came off...couch...dining room table...kitchen counter...floor...anywhere...
- We have lived in our house 3 years now. He has yet to clean the bathroom or wash a floor. He just. doesn't. do. that. ugh.
All this said...these are little quirks...I take the good for the bad and I love him. I am sure his list of my girlie annoying habits is a mile long!!!

Chris has to be the worse slob I know! Just tonight, I came home from working late to a pile of dishes in the sink...REALLY!!! You couldnt do the fuckin dishes?!?!?
You girls crack me up! In all honesty, I forget about these things until you bring them up. I guess marriage makes you complacent...
1. My husband is a slob in denial. He blames the messy house on me and the children, when in fact he is the largest contributor.
2. He takes off clothes and leaves them on the bed, on his dresser, on the floor, claiming he will wear them again and never does.
3. I wake up to find beer mugs, yogurt cartons, plates, ect all over the house.
4. He stays up ALLLLLLLL night doing absolutely nothing then sleeps in late everyday, unless he has to travel.
5. He always is lying down. He never sits up or stays active at home. He even comes home from work early to take naps, naps on the weekend after sleeping late and playing video games all day.
This drives me bonkers because I am high energy, if you're not moving, you're dead kind of person.
Phew, I am evil, aren't I? Gosh, I feel guilty now.

Nothin to feel guilty about
My BF lays around and plays video games with every free second of his day...and yep, all night!!!!
My so has taken on the traits of the other police man he is working with and has a hard time leaving it at the door..We had to talk the other day about how I don't need his sarcastic/mean remarks. I am not his co-worker.
He also has a tendency to ask how my days was and not really listen to my answer...I've called him out on that too and he's been better about it....

I feel ya on this one! My hubby is retired now but when he was a sergeant there were a couple times I responded to his "command" with "Yes sir, Sergeant Arellano sir!"...of course I was being sarcastic! I also had to tell him "I am not one of your officers!" He hardly EVER brought his work home with him so my response got his attention....he, he!
OMG I can not tell you how many times I have spit liquid out of my mouth reading your posts. You all crack me up. Its funny cause I always feel like Im alone in a situation but the fact is that we all share the same things...
He's LAZY for EVERYTHING... He does not like to do too much other then "relax". It gets to me cause Im constantly on the go and he's right where I left him... On the sofa playing his stupid Playstation...
He's over weight and refuses to do anything about it. Which of course ties into being lazy. It bothers me a little... Well, actually a lot. I want him to be healthy and Im sure that is what he wants too but he wont put in even the minimum amount of time to make any difference.

HaHA! Yes, my husband is in business admin and runs 28 radiation facilities. Thus, he is always on point and talking with an "Ivy League" vocab. He then speaks to me about everything in this manner. I always feel like I am in a job interview when we talk about our retirement accounts or planning a vacation. Ugh
I really only have one complaint..honestly my hubby is amazing...however...he is a teaser.
He will tease the kids until they get mad, until the dog flips out, until I walk away because I can't stand it.
It is bad enough to have temperamental teenage girls, but add in a father what that nonstop teases...yikes!
He was one of those fathers when they were younger that teased them until they cried or flipped out...why do men think that is so funny?

lol...you gals crack me up..at first I wasnt gonna post up here, but then I saw that everyone shares about the same thing...i dont feel so alone anymore...lol..so here goes:
1. My hubby leaves his clothes EVERYWHERE...drives me insane! I believe there is a place for everything...clothes belong in the closet or hamper...clean clothes shouldnt be mixed with dirty clothes and the last time I checked, the guest bathroom is NOT a closet.....ugh.....okay..that felt good..lol
2. He doesnt clean up after him self...he will leave it, say he will get it later..and then never cleans up...instead he falls asleep infront of the T.V watching motorweek....
3.He worries TOO much...my motto is, "You cant unring a bell. If you cant change something, why stress over it? Do all you can and let it go". Why the hell am I gonna raise my blood pressure over something I have no control over?! Everytime this happens, he sees my "calmness" as me not caring....geesh
4. He is very short tempered...and he has anger issues...if he gets upset he says things with the intention of doing damage. He says, "he doesnt like to be pushed in a corner"...WTF?! **sigh**...I dont like it...he can just get really mean...really REALLY mean....
5. He has controlling tendencies...which combats my independent qualities...I like the idea of him wanting to take care of the family...but I dont like to be in the position where I NEED him to take care of me...I think he likes that....
6. He wont cook for me...lol...
OKAY....I think im done...as you can see I have had that bottled up for some time...hahaha...
Matt's Mom and Beauty - you bring back memories. My ex-husband was a military police officer, and after he got out joined a civilian police department. He was forever asking me to do something, and then instead of "nevermind" he'd say "as you were" or "disregard". He'd use military time a lot.... and also tended to be a little bossy. He also had to have his shirts hanging in his closet left shoulder out and two fingers-width apart. Drove me crazy! I think some guys really click with the military/cop lifestyle and have a hard time leaving it at the office.

Sharon I think your husband is moonlighting as mine!! My hubby's sense of humor is one of the things I love most about him, but at the same time he can have a very dry sense of humor at times and you can't tell if he is kidding or serious and I'll take it for awhile and he jsut keeps going. and going. and going. Like the most fucking annoying energizer bunny ever. And when I finally get fed up or feelings hurt he gets all offended and offers up 'god, I can't even mess around with you' (pout pout) We'll captain obvious guess what? It's only funny if both people are laughing!!
Also he complains about being fat. Yes he is overweight. Does it bother me? No. I want him to be healthy and with his families history, yes I do want him to loose weight. He was really good about eating better and exercising for awhile and lost 60+ pounds in about 5 months...but then it just stopped cold turkey. Well, now that I am trying to be consistent in workingout and eating better I catch him almost trying to belittle it...'do you have to carry your water with you every where...(insert mocking tone) oh I'll die if I don't have water every 10 seconds. Why all of a sudden do you want to lose weight? You're never going to be happy with yourself...' blah blah blah blah.
Me trying to get in shape opens up his insecurity flood gates a la...what if you get in shape and feel better about yourself and go out and find someone better...alrighty then. We've covered this before but if that is your honest concern...WHY NOT GET OFF YOUR ASS AND DO SOMETHING?!?!?!?!
Also, if I am considerate and go in the bedroom to watch a program I was wanting to see, instead of taking it off whatever he is wanting to see or the baby is watching then I am being selfish...but me having a program on and him coming home for the evening and automatically changing it becasue he doesn't like it...well buddy guess what I don't like a lot of shit that you put on the tube but you had it first so I don't jsut grab the remote and say 'um, no.'
