This is a discussion on I found out the strangest thing... within the Relationships and Family Life forums,----- I just found out a female friend is MARRIED but her facebook profile says she is SINGLE and she NEVER ...
I dont talk about my BF very much...He's a private person, doesnt have FB and I respect that, plus I'm not the type to post 'I have the best BF' ect..Thats just not me. But, I do have my status as "in a relationship"...so I think to have it say single, would be shady.
Maybe she hides that she has a FB from a jealous hubby or maybe she's cheating on him or ditto on what KJ said maybe she's getting a divorce. So many possibilities.

Oh on more thing my mom doesnt have that status listed either but only because she isn't very computer savy and doesn't know how. I could update it for her but she only uses FB to advance doggies awareness and to help promote her non-profit organization.
I agree with the rest of the girls...I dont think its too much of an issue that she doesnt talk about her hubby because she could just be a really private person. With that being said, I DO think that she should have atleast put "in a relationship"..not "single"..lol
oh oh I thought of some more. Maybe she started it when she was single and hasn't thought to update it. Or maybe the people she lets be friends are only close people and it doesn't matter cause they know she's married.
A friend of mine txted me and asked if I knew if she was married and I was like no her FB & myspace says single and she is always talking about her sister. She was even on a radio show and they asked about a typical day and nothin about her hubby.
Sounds like a friend of mine. Her and her BF are BOTH on facebook, but both listed as single, and never talk about each other/comment on the other person's facebook or anything...weird.
