What are some of the most basic, necessary requirements in order for you to be completely happy and content in your relationships?

I'm finding that these differ for everyone, more than I ever thought they would... so I'd like to see what you ladies think.

Oh I like this one...

So as far as male romantic relationships go... AMBITION is huge for me, similar active/healthy lifestyle, no smoking are pretty much absolutes.

Additional pluses are humor, witty, educated!, gorgeous looks always work wonders, and some introspective/reflective nature to personality too!

- sense of humour
-honesty ( i'll even appreciate you telling me I look sorta fat in an outfit if I do..just say it nicely)
-motivation and drive, goals
-diplomatic ( I would hate it if my bf only saw one side of anything...I love that he takes in both sides of a story and can understand BOTH sides of a story...not too many people do that these days)
and like Nic...a love for ANIMALS ( or at least an understanding on why I love them so much!)

This is a hard one. I'd never really made a full chekclist or anything , but I know I wanted someone to love me and accept me for who I was and support me. Someone who didn't have a temper and communicates..
