This is a discussion on Post Workout Carb sources... within the Supplements forums,----- I use oats, whey and glutamine post workout. I feel like it works pretty well for me...anybody else use something ...

Well, I used to do something I called "GO-GO Juice" which is 16oz gatorade + 1 scoop vanilla whey...that could work don't ya think?

I usually have a shake w/fruit. The carbs/sugar in the fruit really help with recovery time. If I have frozen fruit I add that to my shake and if I don't then I have an apple, banana or pear PWO. Then eat a real meal within an hour and a half...

If I were eating cereal PWO it would be honeybunchesofoats. nomnomnom.

I have a protein shake with water and a teaspoon of frutose and dextrose immediately after training. I have my monster meal within 1 hour of this.

I have to force this post training shake in because often I am still full from my training drink

I feel like I am eating and drinking myself to the fill around training
