And if you do, which ones do you take/think actually make a difference? My stomach seems to constantly be making girggiling digesting noises and I feel like lately I'm a bloaty gassy mess.

Well, probiotics are actually used in the large intestines... Your stomach gurgling might be a lack of stomach acid though.

Let me see if I can find an article or two on betaine HCl...

Here we go:
Betaine -- HCl
Betaine HCL supports the stomach's production of hydrochloric acid and protein digestion

I tried probiotic supplements two years ago. I rarely get sick but that year I was sick off and on the entire winter. Stopped taking them and haven't really been sick since. For me they seemed to lower my immunity. I just focus on eating well, drinking lots of water and taking a multivitamin as well as calcium + magnesium and fish oil.

That is honestly impossible.

Probiotics cannot have a negative impact on immunity, all they do is help digest foods and nutrients.

Thanks for the info guys...

I don't add any salt to my foods, I had no idea this could be a problem??
So confused.
I eat massive amounts of green veggies, I just figured I couldn't digest so much borccoli or something.
Now I get the tummy gurggles, and really bad gas pain, and really NASTY farts (sorry) I don't want it to be the broccoli's fault!!!! waaaa

I love broccli too. I bet you are likeme and like it either raw or just barely cooked. Here is a good article with the broccoli. It basically has the same info suggests probiotic (a sepcific one) with a natural suggestion to help with the gas (fennel seed).
Battling Broccoli?

That way it decreases gas with deadlifts
