I am prepping and hungry...SHOCK!

I'm trying to find a way to fill up my tummy without the additional calories. I know a lot of people recommend Phylum Husk...but I've heard people complain about bloating/cramping etc. When I was looking at it today...the bottle calls it "Natures Laxative"...not my idea of fun.

I was thinking about taking a fiber supplement, something like Metamucil...I found a chocolate flavor today that looked promising...but, again I'm not trying to get bloated OR spend all day in the bathroom!

I'm hoping you ladies can help me out! What should I do!??!

Olesya had told me about mixing metamucil with a little lemon juice with ice water in a mixer bottle. Personally I think it works. I've used the sugar free orange flavor and it also worked for my sweet tooth.

I dont know about the chocolate one, I'd be interested to know what it tastes like. Ive never even seen chocolate. I know that metamucil makes a few flavors, berry and pink lemonade.

But be prepared, its still fiber... Well, look on the bright side broady can keep you company while your on the potty.

Its not 'Metamucil' brand...I found it in the Natural/Organic section at the food store, so basically the same a Metamucil just different name.

Will it cause bloating too or just make me poop?

Well it could cause both I guess it depends how your body responds. Try it and see how you respond.

My mom uses Psyllium husk. My understanding is that it helps "bind" everything together... I would steer clear of choco flavor...that sounds nasty!

What did you try using? The Psylium Husk? I saw pills...do you think that works the same as powder?

I was thinking... could you try spreading your meals apart by an extra 30-45 min. This way your last meal would be later and you wouldn't be so hungry. For example, I eat at 8 am, 12pm, 4pm, 7pm(supper), and 10pm. I cant sleep unless I JUST ate. lol

Haha, okay, just a thought

I have realized lately that sometimes when we THINK we are hungry and ready to eat, we really aren't. When I feel hungry I always wait at least 30 min before actually eating again.. sometimes you realize you aren't as hungry as you thought. You might be surprised...

Anyways the above may not apply to you (and when I used "you" above I wasn't really referring to YOU.. lol.. just the reader in general) but it is always worth experimenting.

I saw this todya on bb.com Bodybuilding.com - Garden Of Life Super Seed - Beyond Fiber! On sale now! supposed to be Psyllium Free Fiber.

Any fiber supp will regualte your pooping. It shouldn't cause anything explosive. Just normal going to the bathroom it'll just help ya fill up.

you could also load up on aspargus but it makes your pee smell funny lol
