Question Poll: What do you think of the idea that BP/split training is outdated?

Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off with $20 Purchase.

Would really like to hear your thoughts on a lot of the published articles on online (some by failry reputable people/trainers) that body part splits and training the body with an old-style BB routine (like leg day, back and bi day, etc) is old school and outdated.

There is so much conflicting info out there but it seems like a lot of reputable people are veering away from that and training the body in a more FB style.

Thoughts, comments, opinions ladies????

I think everyone responds differently, for me...I LOVE BB'ing splits. I think you cant go wrong with heavy, old school movements.

I think that the reason why full body workouts have become more popular is that, in my experience at least, they are easier to fit into the busy scedules a lot of people live with. I have had better success with sticking to a FB routine and I find that the workouts I do are quick and becacuse I am switching muscle groups and breaking it up, they seem to go by faster. I find that the right full body workout can totally kick my ass. I don't know if FB is more effective, but I find that it is easier for me to successfull follow, which in turn gives me better results. I was doing a split before and maybe it was the program I was on but it seemed like my workouts took FOREVER! And if I missed a day, it messed up my whole week. That is just my 2 cents. I am sure that split workouts still yield great results when it is a good program that someone sticks to, but right now I am doing full body and loving it.
