Don't laugh! I have a few of exercises that I do that I can't put a name to... I just want to know what to call them! Help!
First exercise: My former Crazy Trainer had me hold a dumbell in front of me, hold it with both hands, just my fingers around the weight part, squat until my butt touched the weigh bench and come back up. I know it seems like some kind of squat but she called them "taps" -- is that what you'd call them or is there another name?
Second exercise: What do you call the glute machine that you do one leg at a time... you put your foot on this pedal type thing and then push your leg back behind you. And as a side note, if you do this, do you feel it? I don't put it in the rotation much cuz it doesn't seem to do much for me. Maybe I just need to increase the weight until I feel it more.
Third exercise: I hold a barbell, but instead of my thumbs wrapping around, they point toward each other and touch on the bar. Then I lift the bar up, keeping it very close to my body... and get almost to my chin before I bring it back down. I like this one because it makes what muscle I do have actually show up.
