Question What does your cardio schedule look like?

Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off with $20 Purchase.

Would love to hear what your cardio schedule looks like in terms of:

1) how many times a week are you doing cardio?

2) What does your mix of cardio look like? (i.e. 2 days of HIIT, 2 days of steady state, etc)? and how long per session (based on the type of training you are doing)?

Obviously, it will be different based on your goals, so please let me know how it changes when you are in a leaning out phase versus a muscle-building/bulking phase.

Thanks ladies!

Cat

I am prepping for a show, so my cardio just got amped up
Right now I'm doing 4 days of Moderate intensity Steady State(35min) and 1 day of Sprinting(15 sprints).

Btw..How's the shoulder?

For my comp last Oct I did 3 days of fasted HITT (sprints on treadmill) and 10 min following each FB workout. As comp got closer I did 5 days of fasted HIIT and added in hill sprints. For this comp I have cut back on cardio....no fasted HIIT...yipee!

When bulking I only do 1x a week of 20 min walking on incline

thanks, girl. What does your moderate intensity look like? Are you wearing a HRM to see how high you are getting your HR?

the shoulder is SO MUCH BETTER! Thanks for asking. I am actually going to post something that maybe others might find helpful (or not) but either way it is interesting. Check it out on Training forum.

Thanks...if that is the case, can't wait to get to the bulking stage at the end of the summer. Eating higher than maintenance AND almost no cardio!!!! Sign me up!!!

I dont use a HRM...thats just another number to drive me crazy!
I just base it on how I'm feeling...enough effort to challenge myself but not kill myself
