I had pretty extensive reconstructive surgery on my tatas in March. Had to have my pec stapled back to my sternum. This left me omitting chest from my workouts for 7 weeks.
So, I recently started back doing flat bench. I have done incline, floor press, push ups, ect. My flat bench is up to 105 for 8 reps. I know I could do more, but I work out alone and am chicken poop.
ANYHOOO, I told my hubby it was my goal to flat bench press my own weight (22 lbs to go). He retorted, "you can't bench press your own weight?"
Okay, is this a norm? SHOULD I be able to bench press my own weight, or is he just being a guy?
