Just curious what type of stance you all are taking during squatting (shoulder-width or wider) and how low you are going (breaking parallel, or going even lower)?
Also, lately I have decreased the weight and been focusing more on form. Curious? How much do you all squat and keep your form 100% spot on?
My stance varies...Sometimes its narrow, others its shoulder width and sometimes its wide stance. My trainer mixes it up in my routine to hit the muscles differently.
As far as depth goes, I aim for below parallel...When it comes to form I keep my back straight and chest/shoulders up.

What about weight? I am really curious to know how much women on this board are able to squat while keeping good form. For a while, I found I could squat pretty heavy but I think my form was not quite where it needed to be. Now, I am focused more on making sure my knees don't come in, making sure I go at least as low as parallel, and making sure I keep my chest out/back up as much as possible. This has lowered my weight on the bar, though. Right now, I am at about 125 and able to get out about 6-7 good strong reps.
The weight people use will all vary...I know that personally, my squats are not nearly as strong as most women I know (especially coming off of my prep).
We all want to move the most weight we can, love feeling strong but form is SO important with squats and deads that its best to lighten the load a bit to keep your form right.

I was trying to find some You Tube videos that really show great form, and break down the "perfect" squat, but most of the videos I have found are big lugs pushing as much weight as they can - show offs!
Christine (sneezing) wrote a nice blog on squating:

I typically do a wider stance if Im trying to go deep which I usually do so my knees dont go out over my toes. Also I use this thingie that snaps onto the bar which puts the bar in perfect position for me.

Right now Im able to squat 155 with good form.
Hmmm..I might look into that. I actually have their Sting Ray for front squats which makes doing those a whole lot more comfortable!
