Yeah, you heard me. Never dream. I don’t want to ever hear you say, "I’m dreaming of _____"
……Why?
Because it’s losers who dream. Winners wake up, and do something about it.
LIVING the dream is what it’s about. Anyone can dream something up in their head, and get so caught up in fantasizing that they forget the real world. Every minute spent dreaming is another minute wasted that you COULD have spent making a damn difference!
I meet so many people that ask me the same thing. "How do I achieve a great physique?" My response is usually something like, "Well, it takes a lot of dedication, persistence, and discipline. It isn’t easy, but anyone can get to where they want to be if they just put some work into it."
And you know what I get back?
"I try - but it’s really hard! I see a lot of people who are so far ahead of me, and I wish I could look like them, but I don’t think it’s possible. My genetics make it so that I carry a lot more fat, so I don’t think I’ll ever look like that. But one can dream!"
WTF you guys!! Wake up a little! Do you realize what you’re saying?!?
That’s like a slap in the face to the people who bust their ass day in and day out, shed tears, sweat, and blood to get the physique they want. They had a dream, and put it into action. If I could get a better body just by DREAMING about it, I’d sure as hell stay in bed all day. I’d eat ice cream, watch TV, and dream myself into a better physique.
If that were so, the entire world would be fit. And then we wouldn’t be unique - we’d be EXACTLY like every other dreamer who did nothing with their lives, and took no steps toward bettering themselves.
That’s what sets us apart from other people. We’re different! We want to do more than just sit in a fantasy land and WISH we looked better than we do! We MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Don’t just wish you had a better body - build a better body. Don’t wish you were the best athlete - be the best goddamn athlete out there. Losers wish, winners achieve.
Remember, every time you try to talk yourself out of getting where you want to be, and every time you make an excuse for laziness, just remember that somewhere out there, there’s somebody who took a little initiative, and they’re working their ass off to get ahead of you. And it’s up to you whether you want to end up last, or first.
Leave your dreams for when you’re sleeping. When you’re awake, it’s time to start living.
