Okay, I figure by letting it all out on here I might just change my mind in the end. But I've been having INTENSE cravings for the last few days. Like CRAZY! I NEVER get cravings for bad food, EVER. But my mom baked carrot cake (birthday shtuff) and got my FAVORITE ice cream in the whole world....and they're eating it tonight But I promised myself I wouldn't have any junk food until after my competition!!
I hope this feeling passes, because I feel like I'm going to die of jealousy from everyone walking around eating their evil deliciousness.
How do YOU ladies deal with this stuff?

I try to just ignore it when people are eating foods like that around me...I keep my eyes on my goals and eating crap wont help me get there.
Honestly, if you havent started prep yet...I would have some to treat yourself before you HAVE to be super strict.
I say do it, life is not about always restricting yourself its about balance. You will be strict for the next few months. Girly you are not going to get fat by having some cake and icecream.
Well, O did not write back in time, and I HAD SOME. Yes, I said it.
I now feel like a big tubby piece of lard who will most likely be going into a sugar coma within the next 2 hours.
This is why I'm not so into cheat meals...they ALWAYS turn into a big deal, and I end up feeling super bloated and not-so-fantastic in my tummy afterward. Sigh.

Sorry I got back to you a little too late... but like I said in the email -- I'm glad you had the yummy food, it's definitely not detrimental in any way.
By the way, just for future reference, when emailing me a question, it's best to ask the actual question in the email itself rather than email me a link to a thread where you asked it.
I'm always getting my emails (on my Blackberry), but I'm not always by the computer. So if you ask a question I can see in the email, I'll always respond as soon as I get it... whereas if you send me a link, I'll have to wait until I'm by a computer.

Ahh, you're right! Sorry about the link thing...I'll just ask the actual Q next time, hehe.
It sounds delicious! I would have had it if I were in your shoes! I had to bring my boss some Peanut m&ms yesterday-- they are my fave! I smelled them! Ahhhhh! But didn't touch them since I am cutting. Otherwise, I can tell you it would have been Game Over!
