This is a discussion on Home Organization Tips within the You're Not Alone! forums,----- I often feeling utterly overwhelmed by housework. I think it boils down to disorganization.
So, I would like to start ...
I just went out and bought a ton of laundry hampers. It seems we never have enough and everyone feels so inclined to dump clothes on the floor. I also got some office organizer stuff, a dry erase calendar, and some Xanax (jk).
This is so my department girls, people I work with call me ANAL about cleanliness and organisation I would call is highly organised. Even the scrap paper box I neaten up and put into appropiate pile sizes whereas everyone else is happy to just have thaty
paper floating willy nilly.
For my kids they each have a folder with plastic sleeves this is where I store all there school newletters, after school activities info, reciepts for their payment etc. I also have a white/pin board on the side of the fridge they each have a column where I write whats coming up for them, sports day, swimming etc. I also use this board to keep track of their pocket money when they get in trouble they lose $ or have done extra job or been exceptionally good they can earn extra $ so at the end of the week I can tally what I owe them. On the pin board I have the weeks food menu so instead of the kids asking me a hundred times a day whats for dinner I say look at the menu.
My cookbook book shelf I have divided into catergories eg low carb, desserts, bake goods etc. I aboslutely hate clutter, just dont like shit lying around everthing has its place and if it doesnt I soon make one. The great thing is my husband is the same. I would like a job like on the lifestyle channel where you go into peoples home and help them declutter and organise stuff.

Oh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pocket money idea!!!!! I am starting that. You are one smart lady.
Here is a website I go on to find advice on writing. They also have a thread for home organizers. You can make really good money doing this.
That would be so awesome if you and your husband started this up. You can always start by placing ads in your kids' school newsletter or at church, the gym. Just do it on the side until you build up enough clientele to go full-time. I smell a career change!!!

I would totally pay someone to do this for me!!!!
OMG my husband would kill me if I took anything else on. Between work, studying 2 courses (nursing and business), our home business, the kids, karate 6 days a week plus trying to make time for my own training and having enough energy left for adult pleasures there is just nothing left of me to go around.
It would be a great cushy job tho.
