Hey ladies. I used to lurk this web site constantly during the early months of this year. I had just had a baby and yearning to find a way to lose the baby weight. I became a bit over obsessed and had to back off. I am back now and at 130 at 5'3 and 9 months post-partum. I have considerably changed my mind set and health habits. It has been hard though. My husband is a football coach and gone from 6AM until late at night and I have a 8-5 job as a legal assistant and my second job as raising my baby girl. I have been waking up super early in the morning to go run and then lift during my lunch break. I feel like my motivation is crashing again though and just looking for a bit support. I keep my diet 90% clean but stalled now at 130. I will post my diet in another forum for input.

I know that there are tons of moms on this site who can offer support. I don't get much support from my co-workers as they are all over weight and don't understand my drive, but I know you ladies do.

I promise to take all comments constructively. Thank you ladies!!

Thanks! I am glad to be back. I will admit that I lurked the "other" website in hopes that it wouldn't be so catty but it remains as so...

I started a journal here called the Last Stand because I am tired of re-starting and re-doing and falling down.

I hope hope hope this works. It has to! You ladies rock!

I could have sworn that I posted something!

Oh well, I got up this morning and did cardio inside. My legs are killing me and so I just walked on an incline and did some abs. I had to run some errands during my lunch break. My mom is coming in today and staying until Sunday. I am excited because we are going shopping in Hattiesburg with Addyson I have not been shopping since I was pregnant and am in need of some new winter clothes as mine are all stretched out from pregnancy or too "young" for my occupation.

Today's meals:
1. veggies, 4 egg whites, 1 egg, 2 slices wheat bread
2. apple
3. 1/2 cup wheat penne, 1 can of tuna, applesauce
4. fiber cereal
5. shrimp and chicken kabobs with pineapple and red bell pepper; sweet potatoes
6. fat free cottage cheese, peach

Sorry to be so short today, but it is a super busy work day!

We had another long long night last night. Addyson was feeling great whenever we put her down to bed. About midnight she woke up crying and it was up and down from there. She is now passed out in our bed laid out sideways. If all she wanted was a larger bed, I will be sleeping on the couch and she can have it!

I was not able to go run yesterday or today due to my lack of sleep. I feel that when I don't get sleep and try to push my body, I end up retaining water and feeling ten times worse. I will see how I feel during my break. If anything, I will go lift for that hour. I didn't do as much last week because I needed a break. Johnny will be late late late tonight so I don't have to worry about cooking dinner.

I feel that I have gained this past week because of my lack of activity and over indulgence in cheesecake from this past weekend. I decided not to cheat on Saturday or Sunday because of everything I ate from last Saturday through Tuesday.

I made O's pizza recipe and it was amazing. Johnny ate all but two pieces only because I ate them! I didn't have any mushrooms, but used green bellpepper and onions, no salt added tomate sauce, and followed the recipe to the "T."

I have no idea what meals today will be. I am tempted to do a fast until this afternoon. I am too tired to even think about food in all honesty! I will post later to update y'all. I just hope little bit feels better.

Good morning ladies! So I made a big decision yesterday and signed up for a half-marathon on February 13th. I am super nervous! My mom and dad are going to stay at our house and watch Addyson and so Johnny and I are going to New Orleans on Saturday to pick up my information and get settled in and the race will be Sunday. I found a running plan that fits in with my lifting schedule.

Today's lifting schedule has clean and jerks, back squats, lunges, abs, bench presses, flies, and behind the neck presses.

I have been doing sort of an IF. I fast from my last meal at 8 until 1 PM the next day and then eat from then until 8 again. I did have peanut butter last night, but didn't enjoy it like I use to which is good.

I will update more in a bit but I have to get Addy-Beth up.
