Black eyeliner? Check. Polished nails? Check. $100, long layers haircut? Got it. Size 2, skin-tight women’s jeans? Yup, got ‘em on.
All ready to hit the streets and have every attractive girl throw herself at you. Ahhh…what it means to be a “hot guy” these days!
I’ve been watching my 17-year old niece lose her mind over emaciated, women’s jeans wearing, made up, dirty-looking boys for a few years now, and to this day, I can’t for the life of me figure out how any female could possibly be attracted to that look!
And yet they are. A simple Google search will prove it. “Guys who wear makeup are SO hot!” “Boys in girls’ pants turn me on!” “If you are skinnier than me and can wear my jeans, I want you!” All actual posts made by young women on different message boards I came across.
So hot, I can barely stand it!
I don’t know about you, but I personally am disturbed by this! What I’d really like to know is, how did this trend begin, and is it some sort of a joke the younger generation’s playing on us, to confuse the living daylights out of everyone observing from the sidelines… or is this for real?
It’s obvious that guys will do whatever women say they find attractive, after all, they’ve only got one main goal as far as their fashion sense is concerned — to attract women. It’s completely unclear to me, however, just how the women could physically find someone so deliberately girly and weak-looking so attractive!
Aren’t we genetically programmed to be attracted to the stronger-looking “protector”-types? Or is it just me?
Judging by my surroundings, looks like I’m the only one hanging on for hope that the bigger, huskier, makeup-free men in men’s jeans and no nail polish on their fingers will make a comeback.
Rant over.
This is NOT a girl!!
There’s actually a reason for this post: I’d like to hear from you ladies. If you’re into the newly feminized boys like those described above, would you please tell me what it is about them that you find so attractive? I’d genuinely love to know!
And if you aren’t, would you let me know I’m not alone? I’m starting to get worried!

I think that look is terrible! I like men to look like men! I see this “type” all over the place and I have bigger shoulders and arms than they do!!! EWWWWWWWWWWW!

I dont mind eyeliner (especially around Halloween or on my favorite punk bands), but good lord I cant STAND the skinny jean look on guys! The best lower body type on a guy EVER is the one with a butt to put into those jeans!! And theres no way that type of man would be caught wearing those darn skinny jeans

This look not only disturbes me but it makes me wonder what these girls are smoking to be be attracted by them! I just don’t understand the new “LOOK” not only for guys but for girls too.
Suddenly your a hot girl if your legs are rail thin and you have a huge muffin top hanging over your skinny jeans…if you are male you must look as if you haven’t eaten or showered in weeks and your hair has to be similar to an afro or long and stuck to your face. WHAT IS THE DEAL???

I’m 19, and in highschool ive seen a lot of my friends go all giddy over these guys, I’m not even sure why really. Eyeliner and girls jeans don’t do it for me, considering the guys wearing them are stick skinny and anorexic looking most of the time.
I need a real man personally, with some muscle, not huge but something, that dresses like a dude, and acts like one.
The ONLY guy that looks hot in eye liner is Johnny Depp!!!!!

OMG! I like men who dress and look like men, those jeans give me the creeps. I mean I don’t think many women look attractive with them on, but on a guy…ewwwww! I am a woman and I don’t ever wear eyeliner, and I’d be damned if I dated a guy wore it.
