Low Carb Protein Custard
This delicious treat comes to us courtesy of Broadys. It’s surprisingly low in carbs and will make a fantastic dessert for those hardcore clean eating times.
Ingredients:
8 Egg Yolks
1 Scoop of Protein Powder
8 tsp Splenda
Splash of Vanilla Extract
250g of either Cottage Cheese, Cream Cheese, Ricotta Cheese, Sour Cream, or a Combination thereof.
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients and whisk vigouously until it all starts to thicken. Remove from heat and continue to whisk until it starts to cool. Add scoop of protein powder and enjoy!
This custard is nice warm or cold, and you can make it your own by adding various flavors to it, like lemon juice and rind, different extracts, various protein powder flavors, and so forth. If you don’t mind a few carbs, pour your custard over berries for an exceptionally yummy treat.

Awesome! Sounds sooo great! Wanted to make this tonight but I am depleting. Can you give me the nutritional breakdown?
Here are the recipe totals, using 2% cottage cheese and a protein powder with 3g of carbs per scoop:
Calories: 790

Divided into 4 servings, each serving would break down like this:
